Writing & Editing

I’m Miranda, an editor and writer working with clients to clarify ideas, shape language, and produce writing that feels alive and true.

We live in a moment when producing high-quality written content is becoming more accessible to everyone, while AI writing, corporate copy, and generic phrases proliferate. In this landscape, we need to find and use our own voices.

AI can’t give you the unconventional edit or ask you the difficult questions; I can.

My work spans arts organisations, nonprofits, independent practitioners, and fiction writers, editing everything from everyday documents to full manuscripts. A background in English/ Art History, event production, and teaching helps me understand both the ideas behind the work and the people it’s meant to reach.

I think of editing as a process of revealing the meaning at the heart of your message. By asking the right questions and paying close attention to your voice, I help clarify ideas and shape language. The result? Your readers are compelled to care just as much as you.
